The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) builds relationships to advance the Jewish community's values and interests, fostering a more interconnected Northeast Florida.
What the division does
JCRC works with community leaders and partner agencies to educate, advocate for, and mobilize the community in the fight against antisemitism.
Engagement and opportunities to get involved
Advocacy Days
Organizes lobbying meetings with State and Federal elected officials in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. These meetings focus on core issues, support for Israel, safety and security, and combating Jew-hatred.
School Engagement
No Jewish person should have to choose between their identity and their studies. To achieve this, we share a Holiday Guide and guidance for engaging with Jewish stakeholders with Heads of Schools, Superintendents, and School Boards.
October 8 Screenings
As painful as October 7 was for the Jewish people, the hate and misinformation about Israel that transpired afterwards on the streets of America are terrifying. We host screenings with decision-makers, followed by facilitated discussions.
