The Planned Giving and Endowment Department exists to nurture partnerships with and protect the financial interests of our Northeast Florida area synagogues and Jewish agencies, to provide charitable gift planning services to our entire community, and to ensure that the intent of all donors who wish to support Jewish organizations is always honored.
The purpose of the Foundation Department is to secure permanent resources to build and protect a strong Jewish future in Northeast Florida, Israel, and Jewish communities around the globe by:

Securing increased Legacy agreements for Federation and Jewish community organizations

Securing permanently endowed funds for Federation and Jewish Community organizations

Adopting policies & procedures that reflect field best practice for all fund types and fees housed at the Foundation
Founded in 1995, The Jewish Foundation was established to last in perpetuity and merged with the Jewish Federation in 2018. Together, The Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida serves as an umbrella to provide consistent funding to our synagogues, partner agencies and nonprofit organizations that serve seniors, children and families through education, social services and programming, both locally and across the globe.
Our work is about continuing the important Jewish tradition of Tzedakah—giving to those in need; to our older adults, to Jewish education, to our children and their children, for many years to come. For more than two decades, we have had the privilege of assisting individuals and families in curating their unique philanthropic legacies that will last beyond their lifetime and inspire from generation to generation. Helping to execute each family’s vision for a Jewish tomorrow is a joy and we are honored to be part of their stories.
