Jacksonville’s first fully Kosher restaurant coming to Mandarin
By Etz Chaim Synagogue
One more important piece to the puzzle that is the burgeoning Jewish community of Northeast Florida is set to drop into place in the Mandarin section of Jacksonville. Hero's Eatery is an authentic eat-in and takeout kosher restaurant with both inside and outside seating available. Hero's will be operated by Beth Beyer who has 15 years experience in catering and Sammi Morali who has another six managing the Jerusalem Grill in Ormond Beach.
Hero's will combine kosher deli with traditional Israeli fare as well as offering favorites we have come to know and love. Sushi will be available and beer and wine will round out the menu as well. Hero's will be proud to offer kosher supervision by both Rabbi Yaakov Fisch of Etz Chaim Synagogue and Rabbi Kahanov of the Chabad Outreach Center, uniting the community in new ways. The restaurant is now open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and located at 12276 San Jose Blvd, just a short 2.5 miles drive south of I-295.
