The B'nai Tzedek Next Gen Grant Making Committee of the Jewish Foundation of Northeast Florida is now accepting proposals for a single year Social Impact Grant Award. Social impact programs create significant or positive changes that solve or at least improve social injustice challenges. This award is intended for organizations that achieve these goals through conscious and deliberate efforts and activities in their operations and administrations.

 

Four grants will be awarded this year, one grant in each of the following amounts: $8,000, $5,000, $3,000, $1,000. 

 

Requirements:

*Be a Jewish nonprofit organization serving Northeast Florida (must have a valid tax ID).
*Applying program must address a social justice issue facing the Northeast Florida Jewish Community today.

Grants will be paid in full in July 2022 for programming to occur between July 2022 and June 2023. Funds must be used during this period. 

The chosen social justice issue should fall within one of the following ten areas:

- Antisemitism and hate
- Civil rights and anti-racism
- Disability rights and inclusion
- Domestic violence
- Homelessness and/or affordable housing
- Women's equality
- Hunger and food insecurity
- LGBTQ rights and inclusion
- Substance abuse
- Mental health

 

Grants will be paid in full in July 2022 for programming to occur between July 2022 and June 2023. Funds must be used during this period. 

 

 

The Next Gen Philanthropy Program of the Jewish Foundation of Northeast Florida is now accepting proposals.

 

 

DEADLINE TO APPLY: MAY 31, 2022

Awards will be announced by the end of June 2022.
