Super Sunday. Make a difference.
On Super Sunday, we come together to help feed and clothe Jews in need, to assist Jews in crises like no other organization can and to ensure our Jewish future and enrich Jewish life. But we can not do this without YOU. Volunteers reach out to the community; to friends, family, neighbors and fellow Jews to ask each to stand with us and be counted.

THE EXTRAORDINARY IMPACT OF THE JEWISH FEDERATION

At Home

In our community, we provide funds to our partner agencies used for financial assistance and counseling. We help fund and sustain our Jewish Community Alliance, day schools and River Garden. And we help send young people on Taglit-Birthright Israel trips.

In Israel

Federation funds training and educational programs to break the cycle of poverty, mentoring and enrichment programs for children at risk, and programs to help new immigrants integrate successfully.

Around the World

Federation is active in over 70 countries. In Russia and other Eastern European countries, home to the world’s poorest Jews, Federation-funded programs offer relief to 168,000 Jewish elderly while helping over 10,000 children attend Jewish day schools. In Latin America, we help over 50,000 Jews with financial assistance and identity & renewal programs.

Dan and Kari Jaffa are excited to chair the Jewish Federation of Jacksonville 2012 Annual Campaign Super Sunday Phonathon on Feb. 5. "This is one of the most important days of the calendar year in our community," said Dan and Kari. "We encourage young leaders to join us in helping Jews in need and support our partner agencies by volunteering their time on Super Sunday."
