Federation is the only organization in our Jewish community with an annual campaign providing allocations to all of the major local Jewish organizations, synagogues and our two day schools in Jacksonville as well as the UJA Campaign of United Jewish Communities – UJC.
How We Save Lives
When you make a gift to Federation’s annual campaign, you will make a difference in the lives of Jewish people of all ages here at home, in Israel and in more than 70 countries throughout the world. Our local agencies are an integral part of the overall Jacksonville community. Their outstanding work is positively impacting on the lives of all who reside in our community.
How You Can Help
Our Jewish Federation engages hundreds of volunteers in our work. We encourage members of the community to contact us and get involved with Federation through the annual campaign, Women’s Division, Community Relations, Young Leadership, Israel Partnership, Joan Levin Gift of Israel Program, and other parts of our organization.
We regularly sponsor Missions to Israel and we encourage you to contact us
about our missions program too.

Jewish Federation of Jacksonville Mission Statement The Jewish Federation of Jacksonville, formerly known as the Jewish Community Council, was founded in 1935 as a nonprofit 501c(3) community service organization. The purpose of the Federation is to conduct community fundraising and resource development, provide assistance with coordinated community planning, assist with problem solving and allocate Federation funds to programs and services that address Jewish needs and responsibilities consistent with the Federation’s and the community’s policies and priorities. Through an annual allocations process, all of the money raised by Federation is distributed fairly and equitably by a dedicated group of local lay leaders. |
